White Lines....

The Florence American Cemetery and Memorial is located just south of Florence, it is one of two American Cemeteries in Italy. 70 acres in all. The site was liberated on 3 August 1944 by the South African 6th Armored Division and later became part of the zone of the U.S. Fifth Army. It is located next to the Greve River and is surrounded by wooded hills which rise several hundred feet to the west. 4,402 Americans who died in World War Two, most after June 1944, are buried here. Is one of fourteen permanent American World War II military cemetery memorials erected on foreign soil by the American Battle Monuments Commission

White Lines by =Triagon is a haunting piece of photographic art. The lines are powerful and the message is even stronger. (Suggested by *intao and Featured by `Davenit)

Depressives don't want to be happy. They want to be unhappy to confirm they're depressed. If they were happy they couldn't be depressed anymore. They'd have to go out into the world and live. Which can be depressing.

Death
Is approaching with every new breath
He’s just ‘round the bend, I hear his steps
I welcome the visit.

pure il brandini cià fatto qualche scatto al cimitero degli ammerigani..
via... ci devo andare pure io allora! =P

cmq
questa è una gran foto!
le lapidi sembrano tendere all'infinito.. in fila..
verso una zona ancora più oscura..

mi fa piacere questa tua ricerca.

Io sono stato al Passo della Futa. A cimitero della valle del Santerno. A Bayeux, Colleville sur Mere, Rainville, Sainte Mere Eglise.

molto bello l'angolo, la prospettiva... e le croci che sfumano nel buio. anche i toni, adatti a dare un tocco di drammaticità.

bella foto, tecnicamente ed emotivamente :)
